The Warlord stared down the shorter wolf, and Hana and Asla decided to remove themselves from the equation. Likely recognising the overly-protective beast was more likely to throw himself in the thick of it when it was possible that two wolves under his protection might be, even by a smidgen threatened.

He swished his tail at daughter and potential daughter-in-law as they departed, and turned to look at Sedna as she threw herself into his mix. It was that did it the most, he let himself relax his weight back into the balls of his feet, understanding that his Warrior recognised this wolf.

Sirius took a step backwards, giving the two wolves more space for their reunion. This wasn’t a stranger scooping out his borders for weakness, nor even an accidental stumble. This was family, he came to understand, by the offering of the other man's last name. Sirius relaxed a smidgen further, offering the man a wry smile. Feathers smoothed by his manners, and the weight of Sedna’s trust. “Apologies, my newest litter has just started to run amok, a father can never be too cautious.” He gave in way of apology. “Come on in, and feel free to take a meal in the communal area.” He suggested, giving a nod to Sedna, allowing her to invite her guest over. “Howl if you need me” he gave the man a departing nod, and rubbed his tail against Sedna, leaving a fresh trail of his scent along her side.
