Wasting All These Tears

The dual toned male lifted his head from his work. He had been digging up a hole to collect roots to take back to his brother. He wasn't asked to, but the plant they belonged to was recognizable and he figured that they would be useful later on. A howl would then reach his ears, and with his dirtied muzzle did he lift himself to respond. Glancing down at his finds, he decided he would come back for them later. His paws would carry him through Valhallan territory, straight towards the call that lit up the air. Luckily he wasn't far from his mark as a form would come into his view. Caerul would approach at a swift trot, tail bouncing behind him as forest green eyes fell upon a woman he had never seen before. Her coat fascinated him, catching his attention. He stopped in front of her, head held high as his eyes would shine with gentility and curiosity. "Hello there, My name is Caerul. What brings you to Valhalla borders?" It was his first time greeting someone at the borders, and wondered if this was a call for formalities or casual conversation. He supposed that whatever she said next would determine that.
