I Was Spinning Free

Dagrún's fangs found Rudy's armpit and she bit down to get a grip. It was an awkward spot to try and grab but she was thrilled that she was successful. Her shoulders rolled forward, her neck scrunching as she tried to keep close to the boy but he wasn't making it easy. He twisted around and his fang's found her left back leg. She winced at the bite and then he pulled the leg out from under her. Oh no! She tucked her tail between her legs to help protect her belly as she felt herself fall onto her right side. She attempted to not only hang onto her bite but also she stretched out the claws on her front paws and tried to dig them into Rudy's leg just below where her teeth were in an effort to stop her whole body from falling to the side. She pulled her free hind leg up to her belly and sought to kick out with the clawed foot at Rudy's face, hoping to get him to let go of her other leg.
