I challenge you!

The boy might be older and bigger than her but Dagrún wasn't deterred. She'd fought older pups before and though it hadn't always gone in her favor she was still determined to try and do her best. If she could beat an older and bigger pup then she could use that knowledge to beat her siblings. Not that it was a competition or anything.

The boy charged straight on, Dagrún tensed then leapt forward but slightly off to her side to bring herself out of range of the boy's attack, well mostly. His fangs nipped her left hip as she tried to slide by. As she leapt she attempted to dig her claws into his left thigh on either side while her fangs sought to bite into the crevice where his left leg met his side. She wanted to latch on and get a solid hold. Dag tucked her tail between her legs, knowing her butt was exposed. She'd learned that from a few fights now but she wasn't really sure what she could do about it other than try to minimize the damage as much as possible.
