Kichi hadn’t expected cat like claws! And they managed to find purchase in his thigh. As the pup’s fangs attempted to likewise get a bite on him Kichi twisted his head aiming to bite into her muzzle to both score a solid bite and use this attack to stop her from biting him instead of simply dodging it. Against Al and Lurid there had been a lot more avoiding with their giant size but this pup was a whole other matter.
Regardless if he got the bite on her muzzle or not he would leap up, ignoring how the stretching of a leg might hurt with the pup’s claws in him. He was trying to use his weight to pull her down. Kichi wanted her on the ground so it could be an obvious and fast victory for himself. If he won the claws would leave the leg and that would be soon enough.
