Dagrún sped for her target but her attack was intercepted as the boy's fangs missed her muzzle bu caught her by the scruff. Oh no! His leg went over her, pushing her to the ground but she wasn't ready to give up yet. Unlike other wolves she had razor sharp claws. Once on her side she lashed out with her back legs in a bunny kick that was meant to scratch the underside of the boy's throat. At the same time her front claws lunged up for the boy's face as she sought to rake her claws down his cheeks and make him let go. She did her best to keep her ears pinned and tail tucked. She also made sure to scrunch her neck back and roll her shoulders forward to help protect her neck from his attack by giving him a mouth full of fur and puppy fat. She felt a touch of embarrassment and hoped Valdís wouldn't be too mad at her performance so far.
