She managed to headbutt it's chest which was better than nothing. It was standing on it's hind legs, and as the pup went after its hind leg and violently attacked it, Winter crouched as she readied herself for another assault. Before she moved, however, the bear lunged to bite at her. She panicked for a moment, barely ducking away though the bears teeth wrapped around one of her horns and as it tried to pick her up, she pulled her weight the opposite way and shook her head to free herself. She pulled with all her might until finally, the bear released. But not before Winter had managed to take one of his canines with her. It roared with pain, but Winter wasted no time in allowing it to get another attack in. With another swift headbutt, she slammed her crown against its bottom jaw while raking it's chest with her sharp claws.
