Stuck between a rock and a hard place

which brought here to this barren area. It seems as of nothing lived or grew here. The hills being nothing but loose stones and dirt. What a bleak sight. Iza thought to herself as she wandered in the shadow of scarp.

that's when it happened, for barely a minute the ground began to tremble. At first iza didn't notice it but soon small peebles started to fall of the hills around her. and soon she had to evade an ever-growing avalanche of stones. Just as the she dog thought that she got away a stray rock hit her in the side. Stumbling she fell to the ground loosing her consciousness as a result.
