an early start

Hattori rumbled in acknowledgement, deciding to forgo the finer details of his profession for now. If the child cared to learn the ways of his trade he wasn't entirely opposed to the idea, but for now it seemed best to stick for the basics. The fact the young pair were ready and willing to learn was a good sign, leading Hattori to think the sooner they got a head start the better, besides it wasn't as if he had anything to do right then. He had time. Stepping forth, Hatori glanced between the two pups with a hint of a thoughtful brow gracing his brow, not entirely sure where to start. He'd started training from a young age-perhaps a little too early- and thus he couldn't quite recall what those early lessons consisted of.
No matter, this lesson didn't need to be physical, getting the children to think about methods and techniques seemed like a worthy use of time. After all, knowing where to strike was equally as important as good posture and footwork. Arguably more so, depending on who you asked.
"Very well." With a flick of his snout, he gestured for them to fall in line before him. "Tell me, where does it hurt the most to be struck or bitten?"
