Askan had a problem, a big goosey one. He was stumped, at a complete and utter loss at what to do. No matter what he did, for one reason or another, the damned creature insisted on following him around, waddling after him like a fowl shadow. It simply appeared one day, waiting outside of his den one morning and had been a thorn in his side ever since. Needless to say he'd snapped and snarled, attempted to chase it off but....well, geese weren't push overs at the best of times and this one was a monster. A devil in disguise.
And thus he was stuck with an unwelcome companion, an infuriating loud and stinky beast that tried to bite him if he looked at it funny. All the other's had respectable companions, jackals and jaguars but not Askan. When would his suffering end? He huffed a sigh as continued his patrol, moving parallel to the border line with his goose-which he refused to name- waddling close behind, neck outstretched as though it was threatening to nip his tail. He could't even enjoy the peace and quiet, with every waddling step the goose let out a honk, incessant and nagging as though it was doing it just to drive Askan around the bend. It was working, very well in fact. Too well.
