Dunkan went with his first attack of getting the pup out of balance, and it worked but Dunkan wasn't the type of wolf to feel victor if the fight just started, he never took anything won until the very end of a fight or whatever else he was up to and here and now he would not underestimate this pup nor anyone. And as the kid sank his fangs on his leg he felt the pain but it wasn't going to stop him and as stubborn as he could be instead of stepping back he used his free paw to try pinning down the pup, taking advantage of Kich's state and then he attempted to bite firmly into the pup's scruff. All he was doing was using his heavier and larger size to overpower the smaller pup.
