She didn't care if she alarmed most wolves, but even sneaking up on a child accidentally seemed cruel in its own right. Caelia made a conscious effort to slacken her posture, tail drooping down and limbs growing a bit less tight, hoping to prove she was far from a threat. At that age anything could seem threatening, especially strangers - even ones in your own pack - so she didn't want to assume he'd automatically like her, or trust her. In fact, it was probably good he didn't. Being too trusting was a problem in itself.
"Wow. You did a good job," Caelia admitted, not the least bit sarcastic, nor was she really lying either. Everyone had a first hunt, though she couldn't remember hers. Probably something not much different than this. Being his age seemed like a far-distant memory though, one she didn't want to dwell on for too long. "Want to try to hunt some more? I can help you, if you want," she suggested lightly. Something about spending time with kids felt more worthwhile than a lot of what she'd been doing lately. They were Valhalla's future and making sure they knew how to work toward a greater goal seemed a useful place to start. "I'm Caelia, by the way," she offered a little offhandedly, figuring a greeting would be polite, even for a kid.
