Tugging it loose with his teeth Hattori paused as he glanced up, noticing the woman who'd helped him with the llama the other day. He stared pointedly at her for a moment, wondering why he'd followed him, only to realise that she likely wanted to hunt some more, to learn his skills and pass them onto her own pack. Fine, Hattori wasn't against the prospect, not really. He cleared his throat, his voice extra rough from misuse.

"I am making a trip wire. He stood as he tugged it loose, drawing it out into a long line and began knicking away with a flick of his talons. It took a few tries but once it was cut he rolled up the remaining spool and with a flick of his nose gestured for the Valhalla wolf to take one end of the wire. "Take that end and tie it around the base of that tree at ankle height."

He ordered as he did just that. He approached his tree and wrapped it around the base, tugging it till it strangled the wood, the wire cutting into the bark. Pleased with his work he took a step back, far enough that the trip wire was a faint grey line before him, hard to see unless he squinted.
