bringing home the ham

There. Right ahead. Concealed within the shadows stood a boar, with it's back turned to the pair as it shovelled its snout thought the muck and mud. No doubt digging for bugs and whatever else pigs tended to eat these days. Casting a look over his shoulder, Hattori offered his partner a nod as he adjusted his position, moving parallel so that he could push the boar towards the trip wire. The going was slow, each step careful and calculated lest he reveal his position too soon but with a bit of patience and perseverance he made it. Crouching low, Hattori pulled in a long and steadying breath as his muscles tensed and coiled, ready to spring at a moments notice. With one last look over his shoulder, Hattori rushed out of the shadows, charging towards the hog who squealed in alarm, clearly caught unaware.
The chase was on.
