He was nearby helping a couple of Avalon's kids with some training when he heard the howl. He stiffened immediately, knowing exactly what that call meant. Only...he was surprised by the one who called. He didn't know much about the Praetor family other than some of them were kind of messed up. He had worked and fought alongside Ignis, and he certainly did not expect the younger male to be challenging for his own family's pack. His lips lifted in a snarl as he glanced at Claire. Avalon had asked him some time ago to protect and take care of them after she passed away, and he'd been trying to do just that. Would he have to protect them against this potential new threat? Or did Ignis realize that the child Acere had placed as the alpha wasn't up to standard? If that was the case...wouldn't they have maybe discussed it? Alot of thoughts ran through his head at the moment, but ultimately he came to the conclusion that Ignis was likely betraying his family. "Stay close." He muttered to Claire as he led the way up to the ship where others of the pack had gathered. He could sense the tension in the air, and knew right away that they were all as surprised as he was. He stood among the others, hackles raised as he waited for the answers that were being demanded. |
