A Call to Fight

The bastard had decided to come at him head on but Gimli had plenty of practice with wolves much larger than him. As Orpheus made to headbutt him, Gimli kept his center of gravity lowered so as to keep himself better balanced. Before any impact was made, however, his larger cat companion charged at their opponent head on and sought to leap onto the back of Orpheus' exposed neck where he aimed to claw and bite into him. Even despite the distraction of geese coming by, Gimli was a focused warrior and paid them no mind unlike his opponent. Gimli's movement would bring him out of the direct contact with Orpheus' intended headbutt, and after he collided with the bastards shoulder, Gimli didn't stop there. He would seek to turn his head towards the side of Orpheus' neck and chomp down, seeking to get a solid bite and hopefully use his heavy bulk and weight to drag his opponents head to the ground and shove his face into the dirt.
