He’d been grazing when Isolde whistled from above, drawing his attention to the glowing figure crossing the plains. With his height and head carriage, he had a good vantage over the tall grasses, so he watched until the Spirit’s voice called, and he realized that he was among those required to attend her call.

He gave a light toss of his head as he moved out, trotting easily to the meeting boulder, Wangui clinging to his withers by his mane, Isolde floating above. They weren’t the first to arrive. He could see a timber marked wolf with a raven heading for the call.

As the stallion came to a stop, his horned head dipped in a respectful bow, tilting to include the young woman as well, before rising and scanning the plains for others, wondering who else was participating in… well, whatever the glowing white woman had in mind today.
