He felt bad for his son sometimes. Dhiren was the only male that was born to him and his wife and he was surrounded by estrogen all the time. He honestly didn't know how his little champ made it through living with all his sister. Cherokee applauded his son for it though, he was a brave little guy for handling so much female. And not only that, but he got along well with his sisters. The girls weren't excluding him for any reason, something which the onyx man was very glad of. He wouldn't want his children to exclude each other for any reason.
So...we're like the guards for Ludi-Ludi-for our pack? We make sure that everything is safe and if something looks wrong, we tell the big boss? Cherokee nodded at his son, a proud grin splitting his lips, surprised that his boy was able to catch on so quickly. That's exactly right Dhiren. We protect our home from bad wolves. And yes, if something is really bad, then we tell the big boss, but it's not, then we can take care of it. The boy was a lot quicker than he would've anticipated but he was glad, that meant that he wouldn't have any trouble learning how to navigate the real world once it was his turn to go out and face it. I can't wait to see if anything new pops up, Daddy! What kind of stuff is new, anyway? He was glad that he had been able to spend some time with his only son, he only knew the boy needed some quality time with the only other male in his life. Well, there usually isn't much. The only thing new thing that we could find would be a new wolf who wants to live here. He shrugged towards his son, unable to come up with a better answer. His routine patrols hardly came up with anything remotely interesting.
