It took the boy longer than the rest simply because he'd had to swim from his and Siren's island to answer the call. By the time the black and white young wolf arrived at the scene, most of the wolves were already battling. His blood boiled and he flashed fangs as a snarl rippled from him. How dare these lowly heathens pull him away from the island? He didn't so much care that they were attacking Ashen, but he had been quite content spending his day with Siren. Someone would pay and they would pay with blood. The boys mismatched eyes scanned the plethora of wolves, searching for a target to unleash his anger upon. His teeth ached to be imbedded in flesh.
