The fiery marked boy was as stoic as Hattori had been. She knew how little fun that could be, but the white wolf… she caught his reaction to her. The flush of warmth in his cheeks a subtle echo of the spot against his forehead. He looked like fun. Her next grin was just for him. Her dark muzzle parting, and her yin and yang eyes sparked.
She laughed softly when his distraction proved to be his undoing, catching a quick from the fiery marked wolf, who was all action and no play. “Chin up love, i’ll kiss it better after this.” she promised the poor short wolf.
Laments teeth found their way into the scruff of her neck, but she had a few surprises of her own. Her sharp claws slid from their sheets, and she wrapped a paw about his shorter shoulder, digging in her talons, and ripping downwards. Hikaru’s attention was on Lament, who had drawn the wrath of both wolves by attacking them simultaneously. Perfect.
