What in the hell was that incessant racket? A rhythmic honking echoed through the forested areas around the falls. There was no way that Resin could ignore it as she patrolled the border. The closer she came back to home, the louder the noise became. A little pain began to thump behind her missing eye and her jaw was tight. She needed to find out what the noise was and make it stop. Rounding a natural bend in the treeline, Askan came into view. Brow furrowed, she had just been about to ask him if he knew what the noise was when she saw a winged beast following along behind him. Stopping in her tracks, the giantess watched as the goose followed her small wolf, honking as it moved along. Oh. Ohhoho... She tried so very hard to keep her expression impassive. The earthen wolf moved forward and the waddling avian was right on his tail. Resin bit her lower lip, brown lifting at the center. The sky rat looked as though it was ready to snap onto Askan's tail at any moment and that realization was the last little push that sent her over the edge. The one-eyed woman, usually stoic and business-like, sat right where she stood. Laughter began to bubble up from within her. She couldn't stop it. The complete irritation on Askan's face, the wretched honking of the feathered beast and the fact that it had seemed to attach itself to the man was too much. Lifting one scarred paw, Resin placed it over her muzzle, trying to stifle the laughter that would not be denied. In the end, she just had to laugh and get it out. Only then would she be able to try and compose herself once more. Poor Askan... He'd found himself a goose. "Speech"
