The other wolf did seem more worldly to Daphne, but still her brows drew down in concern. She didn’t notice the way the other pups tail stopped wagging, because she was too busy looking at her oversized paws and trying to carefully adjust them so she could sit without flopping to the ground. She looked up just in time for the smelly spring water to catch her right in the face.

Her jaw dropped in momentary shock, before a smile cracked her face and her tail began to wave rapidly at her back. Oh it was gonna be like that was it? She gathered her hind legs beneath her and sprang forward, hoping to tackle the other girl into the shallow water. If she wanted to splash about, the small pup might be able to get them both bathed at the same time.
