The stallion watched as four others arrived, ears pricked with interest. Some he recognized from the festival fighting sign-up, and as Aurielle began the introductions, his head bowed lightly to each.
So, this was the test she’d spoken of? Well, he was ready. His muscles quivered, nostrils flaring as Isolde took to the air, and Wangui took a better seat on his withers, poised to strike.
Kati was the one to take after him, and Taliesyn spun with the man, aiming to keep him from getting behind him, and as such the male’s teeth found nothing to catch before the horse lunged for him, aiming to slap the rump of the wolf with the length of his horn, forefeet aiming at stamping the earth and drive the wolf back with the possibility of getting his toes shattered under a much bigger, heavier creature’s hooves. However he was purposefully not aiming to make contact, simply wishing to psych Kati out a bit.
Wangui stayed aboard for the time being, but she was watching both their opponent and the melee around them for anyone that might attack while Taliesyn was occupied, though it seemed that each had paired off with one per wolf.
