His hit landed and her sense of balance wavered. she was down but certainly not out. He saw the glint in her eye, the coiling of her muscles in her limbs and he knew with unshakable certainty she was up to something. He tensed in preparation just as she lashed out, quick as a viper strike, and made a yet another grab for him. Given her angle and positioning he couldn't simply knock her away this time and thus he deemed it time to use a little more force, but not too much. No blood would be shed today, or ever in regards to their little spars.
Using the bulk of his weight he shouldered his way though her attempted grab. He heard a soft ooof pass from her lips as he forced her back down onto the sand, with limbs tangled and the wind knocked out of her. He could have left it at that, she wasn't in much of a position to retaliate but as far back as he could remember he'd always been taught to finish the job. Or at the very least to ensure his opponent could not strike back at him when his back was turned or his attention elsewhere. And so instead of leaving her be, Hattori stepped forward and pressed his paw against the dark length of her throat, with just enough pressure to make his point.
"I believe this makes it two-zero." He rumbled from above her, just a hint of amusement bleeding into his voice.
