No longer beholden to Ashen or really any kind of name or title, Moonshine wandered alone. Her parents offered for her to join them but she’d felt a draw or pull to go out on her own. She had a mission to fight injustice, not vacation. That wasn’t to say the bubbly girl didn’t miss her parents or her siblings on most days. Traveling alone was well.. Lonely. Honestly the half dog girl figured that she would have a side kick by now, someone who pledged to fight alongside her. She also thought that by now she would have picked a hero name for herself. Her father told stories of the great Rin-Tin-Tin or Balto or Lassie, but she wasn’t fond of them. The only heroes she heard about from her mom were old wolves names from a time too long ago to be worth remembering. Hamiclar and Iber and whatnot. None of them had ever sounded like heroes to her.
Her dainty little paws carried her onward as she pondered this new life. Under thick foliage and over fallen logs as the gulley was opened up before her. The smell of a fire was curious but homey and Moon was drawn to the smell of it. Glad she was wearing her mask when she spied the smallish wolf. Floppy ears perked and head slightly tilted as she approached across the fire. She cleared her throat lightly in case her presence wasn’t quite realized before entering the threshold of rude. As usual a care free smile played softly on her features. ”Hello!” Moon greeted, ”I just smelled your fire and had to come look.” She further admitted. Now the true test, what name did she give if she was asked?
