A Million Ways to Say Thank You

It had been a while since the Habari boy had pulled the thorn from her paw. Bowen had grown quite a bit since then but the six month old girl was still very small and petite. Her siblings surpassed her drastically in size. All wolves did, actually. She was yet to meet anyone smaller than herself. The russet and cream girl wondered how much Jigsaw had changed during their time apart.
It had taken her so long to pay him a visit because she hadn't been able to choose the right gift. There were many lovely things in her hoard, but none of them had been just right. When she first laid eyes on his gift though, she knew that it was for him. And so, with permission from her mom's, the girl made her way to the Habari border. The small bag around her neck tinkled a bit as she walked. Since she was told to be respectful of borders, Bowen sat just on her side. Raising her pink nose to the sky, she let out a tiny little howl that she hoped someone would hear.
