The sound that reached her ears was like a ghost on the wind. When Hannibal left her again she had no hope of seeing her son. Not that she deserved to, not him or his siblings. There were many regrets in Deathbelle’s life but perhaps those three children were the biggest. She struggled with the very first, the regret of conceiving them to begin with. Would they have been better off had they never been born? Then adding on to the guilt of even thinking the thought, how harshly she failed them when she became a single parent. They deserved so much better than her…

She struggled with her thoughts as she loped easily towards the border, trailing her heavily pregnant niece along the way. Deathbelle had no worry about her safety, she was still an accomplished warrior herself and had no doubt in her abilities. Still, the presence of the younger Klein helped to dissipate the tension in Belle’s limbs. ”Incubus.” She whispered as she came to a halt on Habari’s side of the border. There was an unmistakable amount of emotion in her voice. She hadn’t laid eyes on her children in quite some time, but Incubus was the longest. She didn’t know weather to laugh or cry and stood frozen instead.

Deathbelle wears a rosebud tiara that is not shown in her art.
