Beneath the winter sun

There was something terrible endearing and sweet about the surprise of an innocent young thing. He was frozen like a rabbit caught in the light of a campfire. When she was done with he swayed like a fainting goat, and toppled to his rump. She couldn’t help it, she laughed softly. He looked as though she had just blown his mind.

“Your very welcome” she said, amused that he would thank her for it. She leaned over him and touched a claw that she extended from its sheath, to his nose. A gentle little ‘tap’ “If you ever want to practice on someone you know who to come to.” He looked like the type of wolf liable to find a nice someone to settle down with in happy monogamy. A shame, for someone so pretty to give their love all to just one person. Until he found that someone, she would be happy to steal a few kisses well she could. If just to see that innocent surprise some more.
