Mortis looked downright bashful as he turned to see the koi with the bar, Hikaru smiled warmly, none of his amusement came with malice, just the joy of real life experiences. He hummed slightly as he tried to ignore the taste of it. Once Mort was all bubbly Hikaru took a pale paw and began to scrub where fur met feather. And in any place he figured might be difficult to access he made sure he gave a good scratch. You never realize how much you want that hard to reach spot scratched until someone does it for you. "I can help whenever you need, just as long as we’re here." He chuckled as soon as he put the soap down. There would be no more frozen river dunks. Besides, being here in the warmth with his best friend would go down as one of the best moments of his life. |
