His weapon hit home on the woman’s hip and he gave a slight glance to catch the buckling that her leg gave in response before his attention got stolen away by a feline that seemingly appeared out of nowhere to swipe at his face. He quickly spun to his right both to face his opponent and avoid the worst of the snow leopard’s attack. He still felt a slight sting across his left cheek as it left some shallow lacerations there, but it was easy enough to ignore. With the spin he unknowingly avoided the worst of his opponent’s attack as well, having her teeth miss the base of his tail and instead leave a glancing bite on his hip. The pain from that one was more noticeable than the scratches on his face, but with how deeply focused he was on the fight he still barely paid it any mind. Wounds could be tended to later.

As he turned to face the woman, he gave another swing of his weapon toward her legs, sweeping across in hopes that he might catch at least one to knock her off of her feet. This raid was giving him all the practice time he desired with the weapon so as much as the quiet furry in his soul wanted to despise all these wolves that dared to cross into their lands, he was still slightly grateful for the opportunity to get this experience without repercussions.
