Eating was difficult with his mouth so sore, so he pushed the rest of his meal away and into the sand. His tongue worked over his gums and he noted how terribly inflamed they were. Chi didn't know what was going on, but he definitely wanted it to stop. How could he protect Siren without teeth? The thought was worrisome and his brow furrowed for a moment. If he lost his teeth he would be useless.
Siren's words brought him out of his mental misery and his pallid pink eye focused on the tiny girl. "Come on. Show me your den." He had something to show her as well, but he wanted to see the den since she'd taken the time to mention it. Perhaps he could help her with it. Digging in sandy dirt was difficult and her paws were so small. He doubted the slave was much use, but he hoped that the other girl was trying to help Siren.
As they walked along, the giant boy spoke again. Before he spoke though, he spit another tooth out into the sand. A flare of anxiety struck him and his ears tucked back against his skull. He didn't want Siren to see how upset he was though, so he carried on, pretending he was okay. "I got you a gift." There was a tiny pack strung around his neck. He wiggled out of it and pushed it towards Siren so that she could open it. He looked upon her with his one working eye, apprehension eating at him. Would she like the head piece? It had taken him a long time to find something that he felt was suitable for a princess.

Chimera is a very adult character and takes part in very adult situations. Don't read his threads. Ever.
Chi has three black Tibetan Mastiff's as guards. Assume they're very close by.
