Crystal glided back from her own patrol, clicking her beak gently, letting him know there’d been no signs of danger at her end. He smiled at the owl as she landed on his back, shuffling her feathers as her wings folded neatly. The owl nodded to Rhaegara, blinking before her head swiveled away to scan the land.
