The pair began loading the wagon that would soon be on its way to a new home in a new land. As they worked, the two giant wolves spoke in conversational tones. She'd informed him of the death of a packmate and Sirius instantly asked about Indigo. "He's better now than he was." Indigo had been a wreck at first and Resin explained as much. The emotional boy had aided in killing the attackers before collapsing into a pile of grief. "He asked for Aslatiel and I sent for her. She's been here with him, making him eat and take care of himself." Without the girl, Indigo might have allowed himself to slowly drift away. Resin listened as Sirius spoke of a pack of coyotes. Not nearly as bad as a pack of hyenas, but with young pups around, it could be a death sentence. The one-eyed fae gave a shake of her skull. "Too many packs, too close together." It would do all of the packs good to have one less in the vicinity. "You and yours will always be welcome, should you care to make the trek. A vacation might be in order after the winter that I feel is coming." Sliding a particularly large fur onto the wagon, Resin settled back, looking at their work. Everything else could be replaced, but food and furs were a necessity. Eventually they would hunt enough to fill their stores with fresh meat, but until then, the preserved meat would be what they had. "Speech"
