"Talk" Walk

He needed to get away from the pack for a day or so. He had been all over the place, searching for new lands to move to and eventually, as he was making his way out of the North, he decided he wanted to pop near Abaven to...well...he wasn't sure. Maybe he'd find Corvus outside the pack somewhere, but what were the chances of that? What would he even do or say if he saw the one he still...loved? He wasn't sure how to feel anymore. His heart still ached for Corvus, but he felt completely lost when his thoughts drifted to him. Instead, he walked the shores near Abaven, making sure to keep out of sight in the event they got hostile towards him. He didn't know if any of them knew about what happened between him and Corvus, or even if they knew that he'd stolen Winterfell. Drifa had been the first to leave, and no doubt she had already told Abaven and any others who would listen about what he'd done.

Part of him felt ashamed. And he knew it was the part of him that felt normal...that part of him that wasn't violent. The part of him that used to feel sane and stronger than he felt now. As he was focused on his thoughts, he almost didn't notice that someone was in the water, though when he did look up he didn't recognize who it was. He did get the scent of Abaven...so he knew it was one of Corvus' packmates. He slowed his steps a bit as he warily watched them.
