Now that they'd settled in somewhat, it was time to fill the larder. A pack of their size would quickly go through the supplies that they'd brought with them, so fresh meat was in order. Luckily, The Hallows had a veritable buffet at their doorstep. The rolling plains were packed full of prey animals. As Resin sat at the border between the castle lands and the plains, her lone eye played over the shapes meandering in the distance. A bellow over the wind brought her their target. Camel meat was rich and one kill went a long way. Today they would be hunting camel. It would be interesting to see just how her hunting party would react to such an odd beast. Resin had only seen them a few times, but knew that they were edible.

Turning back to face the castle lands, the Aegis let out a long howl, calling for the hunt. It would be pack bonding as well as acquiring resources. Perhaps they could bring down more than one, depending on the size of the beasts and the number of hunters. She would have to wait and see who showed up.
