Ophie attempted and promptly failed to knock the stranger off his paws. He was strong and made quick work of pushing her back with his shoulder. She stumbled back, tripping over her own paws and haphazardly managed to the dodge the reach of his teeth. Had the hit landed it would have stung a little but probably not done any lasting damage, she was just grateful her clumsiness had served to her benefit for once. She'd always been taught to keep up the offensive, to push and strive to keep her opponent on their toes, but fighting in practice had always been a little overwhelming for Ophie. So many things could go wrong and all the what ifs clouded her mind, but not here and now. It all just felt lighter, yanno? Fun without having to admit it aloud.

Stepping back she circled him with a prowling tiger, ears flat and teeth bared. As if she could ever dream of getting close to the sense of ferocity her Dad gave off when he got mad. She reared up on her hind legs, a rookie move for sure, and reached up to give him a good bonk on the head. Her signature move, if you will.
