Warmth and Sunshine

As the snake came even closer to him and stood up Saren jumped a little inside, bringing his slow pace to a stop. Snakes didn’t eat wolves right? As it spoke and introduced itself Saren wondered if he’d actually heard a snake speak before, he wasn’t quite sure.

“H-Hello.” He stuttered out towards the snake, apparently named Koby. His face clearly depicted his nervousness. “Shouldn’t you be in the south? It’s a lot warmer in the south.” He knew enough about reptiles to know that they didn’t do well in the cold. The other benefit of the south was it was away from him.
