Rudy snarled back, but Avantika wasn't afraid. She wasn't sure what to do next, but it seemed the boy made the decision for her. He lunged forward, but before he could land, she moved to the side and then forward. She shoved his shoulder with hers with all of her body weight, knocking him down, where she would lay over him and hold him down. She was bigger than him and she was going to use that to her advantage. She stared down at him for a moment, maintaining the pressure. She raised her head and grinned, letting her sparring defenses drop. "I won." She hadn't, really. But it wasn't like they were fighting for anything important. He'd let her win, right? She was almost certain he would. And she was even more certain that he had. "speak" |
