The news brought by Drifa made Corvus wildly uneasy, but his mind was admittedly even more preoccupied with Twig and her loss. Their loss. It was hard to think much about himself when she was hurting, and it was easy to shove his own feelings aside in favor of worrying for her. Perhaps it wasn't the healthiest coping mechanism but it was what he had going on at the moment. Worrying about her was a very real concern though, which was why he was out looking for a meal for her today. Maybe just something small but after what her body had gone through she needed extra nutrients, right? Corvus was no healer but he wanted to take care of her as best as he could.
He trailed alongside the rapids until he found himself at a narrow bend. Usually the fishing was decent at spots like this, and though Corvus wasn't much of a fisherman he'd give it his best shot. Crouching down low he bent his head low to the rapids, squinting as he avoided the midday sun that gleamed off the water. His eyes trained on the movement of the water, zoning in until the movement of the waves became a blur and he was able to see beneath the surface, searching for any sign of life below the surface. As soon as he saw a flash of color he swiped down low, though utterly missed his first attempt.
