Resin clearly had more surprises up her sleeve and made that all the more apparent when she got the pack's attention once again and made a statement about family - by blood or by choice. Her expression softened from curiosity to absolute adoration as Resin began to call each of their children's names and give them all the surname that they had talked about sharing back before their move to Auster. It was something that she hadn't dwelled on too much since that day and she hadn't known that Resin was going to give the name to them in such a grand manner so it caught her off guard in the best way. They had raised the lot of them together and had parented them equally so it had never felt like Resin wasn't also their mother even though they didn't share a blood relation, but now with a surname shared between them all... it felt all the more real.

A huge, delighted grin crossed her face when Resin addressed her as her mate and officially gave her the Carpathius name as well, her tail sweeping excitedly over the floor behind her. She'd never put much weight on or worried about having a title for what they were before, but that didn't mean that it didn't mean a lot to hear it. This was what she had always wanted having a mate to be - not like how her family had always led her to believe it should be. This was love and respect and protection and family. Everything she had always dreamed about. Once the rest of the group went back to their feast and Resin turned her attention back to Tamsyn, the smaller woman immediately reached up to give her mate a loving kiss, though she didn't linger too long since she knew they were still in everyone's company for now. "That was perfect," she told her with another grin. It wasn't a elegant ceremony with sweeping pomp and circumstance, but it was to the point and made a wonderful impact - nothing less than she would expect from her direct and to the point mate.
