While he had succeeded in getting a foreleg over her, he hadn't succeeded in completely recovering from his earlier blunder. He was still getting used to fighting smaller opponents, and it seemed his tactics still needed changing to accommodate his fights with these types. This time around, he was still too slow and his mind wasn't entirely focused. She managed to bite the bridge of his muzzle and as her teeth pierced his flesh, he felt that familiar jolt in his mind and he knew he needed to stop now before things got significantly worse. Almost immediately he backed off, tearing his muzzle away from her teeth and he backed up until he put several feet between them. "I submit. You're a good fighter." While it wasn't the most fierce fight he'd ever been in, he had no choice but to admit defeat, even if it was unwillingly. She was a complete stranger after all, and he wanted at least one normal day without that voice trying to convince him to do things he wouldn't have done before. |
