crossing a bridge

Noir was ignoring the East like it didn’t exist, he’d been far too close to Theory and his family last season so he was eager to get as southward as possible. He didn’t allow them to dictate his life, but being in their presence was far from pleasant. If Noir could, he’d avoid them like a plague. His confident stride wasn’t interrupted even as he realized he wasn’t alone. Summer’s call echoed over the wind and his blue and lavender eyes swiftly shifted to the woman who was following him.
Her slender frame popped from the pale sand and her sweet voice reached his ears as she skipped towards him. Dual toned gaze obviously looking over him just as her voice made the fact obvious. He cocked a half grin as he stopped and turned around, just as eager to take her in. Too long had passed since he’d been admired, and he couldn’t ignore the beauty of the woman who found him either.
”I certainly am,” he chuckled and moved closer, massive dark paws sinking into the shimmering sand as he did so, a hungry expression playing on his features. He wondered how easy she might be to woo or convince to tag along. The days were long and lonely, and he craved attention and adoration. ”You’re one to talk.”
