The polar bear cape offers some protection from the bitter winds that lash across the ice bridge, but it doesn't fully erase the cold that pushes in from all sides. Suddenly the wind seems to halt, the ice bridge growing silent - save for the eerie sound of ice creaking below. The stillness lingers a moment longer before being interrupted by a slow-growing tremor from the ice itself. The vibrations are accompanied by the eventual sound of hooves, beating hard and fast against the ice... and straight towards you. The cape is nearly whipped off in a flurry as a group of creatures pass you abruptly on both sides. They move so fast, in fact, that all you see is the tail end of a group of what appear to be caribou as they hurry to the other side at breakneck speed...
