Warmth soaked into the woman and she slowly drifted off mentally. Her mind wandered, disconnecting from the duties and responsibilities of alpha for the time being. This was a moment for herself, mostly. Hattori sat across from her, but he was forgotten for now. Thankfully, he was as silent as she and his presence faded away with everything else. For a time they sat in silence, but eventually one of them had to move. Hattori broke the silence first.
