snoozy devotion

Hattori bit back the urge to roll his eyes. If he wanted the woman dead he would have killed her already, forgone the tedium of leading her all the way here just to get her to settle. He knew she wouldn't appreciate his efforts, he'd seen that coming from a mile away, but her suspicion of him was misplaced. And whilst he did well to hide it was a feeling he harboured nonetheless. She claimed that she wished to see him boil alive first and he let out a little huff of a sigh as he settled further into the waters. Wiggling comfortably as he eyed dark of his toes underwater. He didn't think she'd earned a response so he said nothing and mostly ignored her as she too caved and got herself situated in the spring.
Sweet silence fell...only to be burst soon after.
Hattori raised his gaze from his reflection, his brows furrowing as he took in the form of the slumbering Abraxas. So much for not needing to rest hm? Hattori wasn't a smug man, but he did feel a pang of satisfaction in knowing he'd been right all along. Except that he was fairly certain if she kept that up she'd sooner drown rather then get some much needed shut eye. With a huff he hauled himself up onto his paws and waded over, only to pause when he didn't quite know how to go about moving her. Should he simply prop her up? Surely she'd get all up in arms if he tried but that was better than drowning, right?
He drew in close and with a nudge of his wide shoulder he guided her towards the rim of the pool, so that she was leaning back as opposed to dangling forward. There, that would do. Back to soaking.
