Toxicity was oblivious to Hattori or his dilemma. In her own head, she slept soundly, dreaming of telling her father of her pups to be and he smiled warmly at her, embracing her in a fatherly hug as he beamed with pride. Perhaps it was less dream than it was an actual spiritual moment with her father- that's how she would always see these encounters nonetheless. When Hattori nudged her back, she rested her head easily onto the bank, "..... Thanks, Dad...." she mumbled with a small but genuine smile as she sighed back into her slumber for a while longer.

When she awoke, a good amount of time had passed and she blinked groggily awake. Her mind came back to her in heaps and troves and she did her best to no move suddenly as to give away that she was sleeping. Sure, Hattori could have known she was sleeping, but if he asked, she'd try to play off the more vulnerable moment. With a huff, she eventually heaved herself out of the pool, her legs feeling wobbly from being weightless in the water for so long. She wanted to shake off her coat and stretch, but she was all too aware that Hattori may be watching. Instead, she just rolled her neck and held back a yawn.

"Do- uh... Springs have any... sustenance?" she murmured more in Hattori's direction than at him, too embarrassed to admit that she could possibly be hungry.
