When we are free

Sparrow wrestled to balance as much on Tyr as she could, cat paws wrapping around his neck and shoulders the best she could as he did his task. She was knocked off balance when he turned and put her in a headlock, smearing her with- honestly she wasn't sure if it was her own saliva or blood from the animal. She accepted it nonetheless with a fake gagging noise just for show. She wriggled underneath him to get free, but she wasn't so forceful as to break the now-smaller uncle of hers. He asked if she sprouted something new and Sparrow finally shirked free from his grasp, gaining her own standing in a few wobbly seconds.

"A few girlfriends, maybe," she said half-jokingly. Did he... ever know if she was gay or not? Well, too late to say it bluntly now! "And enough followers for the Pirates to finally set sail." She beamed proudly. "We're gonna be having a party first of spring. Of course... means I CAN'T reaaaalllllyyy be a Fireside wolf anymore." She threw on the saddest pout she could muster, ears drooping, tail thudding. While the idea of leaving her home was a little sad, she was sure she was welcome any time and besides, a lot of exciting things awaited. "Not too late to stop being Mister Pack Alpha Man and be Mr Pirate Dude...."
