Indigo was ready when he heard the call ring out at the border. He didn’t recognize the voice but then again it had also been quite some time since he’d been associated with Ashen. He was much more relaxed during this raid, the one he’d gone with the pack to take on Aerie had been an intense fight. He’d only just managed to keep his luxurious violet tail.

The stakes weren’t as high, but still his deep chest puffed with pride as he lifted his nearly fully maned head. He was a massive beast now, the long thick fur around his neck bristled as he moved forward to meet the oncoming force. Indigo was determined to prove himself, to Resin, but also a part of him that didn’t want to admit, for Cosette. He wanted to impress the tiny girl, but he hadn’t come to terms with the why of it yet.

As his fellow took on their opponents Indigo brought up the rear of the party, but he was partnerless for the moment. Vibrant blue eyes searched out any wolves that might be heading towards him.
