The company of the male wouldn't startle her and she physically wouldn't show real interest in him. Though it wasn't a mean, unfriendly way, just more so that she was still tracking the prey for Ashen's stores.

Not making eye contact with the male, but still coming to a quick halt before continuing on, she wouldn't reject his help, "Um, yeah. I'm just tracking this pig. Can't let it get away since it's winter." While Lament understood the task and was in step behind her, she wouldn't fret if he chose to not help. Viper didn't understand she may not have been the most social or friendliest wolf, but she wouldn't take offense if he backed out simply because of that. She may have had a unique temper, but through a young mind she didn't see usual irritants that some may find.

Coming up over a hill just north between Ashen and the Armada, the hog could be spotted a short distance away. It was just trotting along and not at full speed while it didn't know of it's stalkers quite yet, but it was aware it wasn't safe where it was at. Viper would pick up pace to catch up with it, but still tried to remain as quiet as she could so she could close as much distance between them and it before it noticed them.
