Rhaegara was saddened but not dissuaded when the woman did not falter, instead aiming for her face. Rhaegara managed to avoid it at the cost of her scruff, but that was fine. She would figure it out. She jolted her shoulder which caused a soft growl from the pain as the shoulder was jammed further into her mouth. She doubled down on her bite to hold her grip, hoping the pain would throw the other woman off her rhythm. She would release the shoulder after. She tried to duck away from the grip, but the woman successfully gripped her scruff. Rhae braced down, her haunches bending before she used her muscular legs to push off the ground, hoping to knock the woman upward to throw her off her balance and get her paws off the ground so Rhaegara could throw her weight around and get the other woman on her back. Carlys came in for the assist, and she was grateful that her friend was growing more comfortable in fighting alongside her.
